Buffer weathering

Although nicely designed, I find the Märklin track buffers too sterile but this is fairly easily rectified with a bit of painting

I painted the horizontal white buffer beam with a mixture of gray and brown. (I also paint over the red Sh0 signal on the back)

I painted all the steel structural parts as well as the buffers themselves with a rust color. And then I dry brush on some black to make it all dirty.
