Build a framework out of scrap wood,
Screw on some hardware cloth...
The plywood on the right is simply in place to prevent the wire mesh from damaging the backdrop.
Some of the pieces needed to be 'sewn' together with some wire.
The rear section is somewhat hard to reach and the wire mesh is very hard to manipulate to I traced the desired shape onto some newspaper and then cut the hardware cloth to match that...
(use leather gloves for this nasty stuff!)
Once cut, I fold it over...
and then hammer the fold flat to make a nice selvedge.
